SUNDOWN CAFFEINE & BLACK SUMMER GO SOUTH

Parañaque City, Philippines – Under the wing of Cornucopia Entertainment, indie rock bands Sundown Caffeine & Black Summer traveled south of Manila to perform at Parañaque City's Checkpoint Bar last Thursday night, May 21, 2009.

This event was dubbed, Cornucopia Rock Night 3.


Sundown Caffeine played as the third band with their usual set:
1.    Cold Summer Nights (Francis Magalona cover, rythm & bluesrock version)
2.    Even Angels Cry
3.    Last Star

4.    Nine Rivers
5.    Halo Effect

"It was a long night. But it was really cool to meet the people behind Cornucopia in person. We always look forward to meeting new people who have the same passion for music. This night was pleasantly full of those people.", commented Sundown Caffeine vocalist Mark.


Black Summer came next and played a pretty long set to stall for the next band's arrival:
1.    Sana’y Dumating
2.    Wounds
3.    Old Flame
4.    Wag Nating Pilitin

5.    Anti-Gravity Lovesong (Incubus cover with Elea on vocals)
6.    41 (Dave Matthews Band cover)
7.    Drowing
8.    Tonight

Black Summer frontman Allen groggily said of this night: "Getting wasted but not wasting time... traveling the distance tests the relentless passion... feeds the soul."

Other bands on the card were She Hates Ballet, Project In Bloom and Tutti.
